Numbers Dip In Final Enrollment Snapshot, But Still About 8.3M

CMS on Wednesday (Jan. 8) released the final enrollment snapshot for the 2020 plan year, showing a total of about 8.3 million enrollments through healthcare.gov even as the raw numbers dipped just slightly, or by 17,000 compared to the week 8 snapshot released Dec. 18. In total, CMS reports , 8,282,871 plan selections were made from Nov. 1 through Dec. 21 including 2,086,338 new consumers and 6,200,533 renewals.
