NIH To Reward Scientists For Replication Studies, Data-Sharing

National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Jay Bhattacharya wants to make changes to the culture of biomedical research, saying the agency will reward scientists who make replication studies their career focus, create new incentives for transparency in data-sharing, and work to keep early-career researchers from leaving the field.
