New NIH Office Will Coordinate Move Away From Animal Testing

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is joining in FDA’s recently announced effort to reduce animal research, saying it will work with FDA on moving toward new alternative methodologies (NAMs), pointing toward increasing the use of artificial intelligence, computational modeling and other technologies.
