NASEM Committee Will Attempt To Officially Define ‘Long COVID’

A committee formed by the National Academics of Science, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) is working on a new effort to reach a standard definition of “long COVID,” the term applied to the wide range of symptoms and conditions patients experience after acute infection with COVID-19, that can be used by the federal government.
