MedPAC Pushes Post-Acute Cuts, Commissioner Raises DOGE, Reg Compliance Costs, MA Favorable Selection

Congress’ Medicare pay advisors approved fiscal year 2026 draft recommendations that would cut pay across the post-acute sector despite industry pushback, and one commissioner suggested the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission start considering the costs of regulatory compliance and post its recent work so it could be considered by the Department of Government Efficiency.
