Medicare Chief Presses Plans To Implement Prior Auth Deal

Center for Medicare Director Chris Klomp said CMS’ list of possible prior authorization regulatory reforms is “underwhelming,” yet he used that message to press private plans to implement their summer agreement to streamline prior authorizations, noting many plans are going beyond the target set in the deal.
