Medicaid DSH Cuts, Juvenile Health Screenings Delayed; HCBS Access, Provider Screenings Improved In CR Deal

A draft of the continuing resolution floating on Capitol Hill Tuesday (Dec. 17) would eliminate the fiscal 2025 Medicaid disproportionate share hospital cuts along with a two-year delay of the remaining allotment reductions and a delay of the recent health screening requirements for Medicaid-eligible, teenagers in public institutions in addition to provisions streamlining out-of-state Medicaid state licensing for pediatric care, improving access to home- and community-based services and strengthening provider screening requirements.
