MA Telehealth Coverage Variable Amid CMS Claims Guidance

While Medicare Advantage plans’ coverage of telehealth does not necessarily lapse with the expiration of fee-for-service waivers, CMS also told MA plans on Oct. 10 that they can hold onto telehealth claims as can Medicare FFS telehealth providers, as long as all prompt payment requirements are met.
