LGBTQ Advocates File Suit Over 1557, CA Officials Reaffirm Protections

Lambda Legal on Monday (June 22) filed suit alleging the Trump administration violated the Affordable Care Act, several provisions of the Constitution and the Administrative Procedure Act by finalizing a reinterpretation of the ACA’s non-discrimination rule that rolls back protections based on gender identity and pregnancy status, removes language requirements and reduces the scope of the rule.
