Industry Turns To Congress After CMS Finalizes Less Than 1% Bump In 2025 Home Health Pay Rule

Congress needs to intervene since CMS’ finalized 0.5% bump, or $85 million, in 2025 Medicare home health reimbursements -- while an improvement from the proposed cut -- is being nearly negated by the administration’s 1.975% pay cut meant to account for the impact of implementing the patient-driven groupings model (PDGM), home health industry advocates said after the agency released its 2025 home health final pay rule Friday (Nov. 1).
