The House Ways & Means Committee on Wednesday (Oct. 4) passed legislation to repeal the ACA's Independent Payment Advisory Board. IPAB is a board set up by the Affordable Care Act as a backstop to other measures in the law that aim to slow the growth of Medicare spending.
