House Ways & Means Approves Medicare Hearing, Vision, Dental Benefits

The House Ways & Means Committee on Friday (Sept. 10) agreed to send legislation expanding Medicare to include hearing, vision and dental benefits out of committee and through the reconciliation process, despite committee Republicans’ arguments there was no need to add the benefits to the program as Medicare Advantage plans already provide such options and Medicare is too financially strapped to expand benefits.
