House GOP Pounces On GAO Fraud Findings, AHIP Says Data Predate ACA Fixes

The Affordable Care Act’s tax credits continue to be at risk of fraud according to a preliminary Government Accountability Office analysis that found healthcare.gov enrolled fake applicants, allowed thousands of authorized enrollments and has other vulnerabilities -- findings House Republicans immediately pounced on as proof the enhanced ACA subsidies should expire.
