HHS Office for Civil Rights (OCR) Monday (Aug. 11) said some health information collected as part of the administration’s new sweeping digital health interoperability effort can shared with entities in value-based care arrangements without a patient’s consent, and also clarified patients don’t have a right to access physicians’ psychotherapy notes or information compiled for likely use in a legal proceeding.
