HHS unveiled a new voluntary 340B Rebate Model Pilot Program on Thursday (July 31), coming after a court ruled in May drug makers need pre-approval from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to replace the traditional upfront 340B drug discounts with after-the-fact rebates but left it up to HRSA to decide how and whether rebates can be implemented.
