Former Senior FTC Consumer Protection Official Eileen Harrington told Inside Health Policy she views FTC’s new effort to label gender-affirming care for minors as an unfair or deceptive trade practice is a gross overreach of the commission’s power and has troubling ramifications for all politicized health care services, some of which are provided by telehealth.
