FDA's Undisclosed DTC Ad Letters Target Specific Drug Ads, Websites, Patient Brochures

FDA has launched a two-pronged crackdown on direct-to-consumer advertising, which in addition to broad warning letters to thousands of pharmaceutical companies includes separate yet-to-be-publicized cease-and-desist letters to 100 companies that two people familiar with the matter say target specific products and promotional materials such as TV ads, websites and patient brochures.
