FDA Pilot Will Make Patient-Reported Oncology Data Available Online

FDA’s Oncology Center of Excellence introduced a new pilot project that will make patient-reported data from cancer treatment trials publicly available to patients and their providers. FDA and the American Society of Clinical Oncology will hold a joint public workshop, “Clinical Outcome Assessments in Cancer Clinical Trials,” on July 17 to gather stakeholder feedback on the program, the agency announced Tuesday (June 23).
