FDA Finalizes Nonprescription Drug Rule Despite CHPA Concerns

FDA finalized a long-awaited rule that creates a pathway for prescription drug products to be available over the counter if certain conditions are met, despite objections from the Consumer Healthcare Products (CHPA) that the rule allows prescription versions of the OTC products to also be sold.
