FDA Asks Sunscreen Makers To Re-Submit Data, Says No New Products By Summer

FDA officials told sunscreen industry stakeholders at a public meeting Wednesday (Feb. 4) that they would have to re-submit applications for new ingredient mixes in their sunscreens, despite a decade of approvals by other international agencies, and that no new sunscreen products would be on the market by summer.
