EPA’s Draft CCL6 Adds Microplastics, Drugs In MAHA Alignment

The Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to list microplastics and pharmaceuticals as chemical groups it is identifying for potential drinking water regulation, aligning with calls from the “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) movement to consider the impact of such chemicals in drinking water, but stopping short of committing to monitor for the chemicals.
