Drug Makers Sue Trump Admin Over Drug Ad Price Disclosure Rule

Amgen, Merck and Eli Lilly on Friday (June 14) filed a lawsuit to block the Trump administration from forcing drug makers to disclose drug prices in advertisements. The drug makers argue that CMS does not have authority over drug ads and that forcing price disclosures violates the companies’ First Amendment rights.
