Congressional Budget Office Delays Sequestration Report

The Congressional Budget Office released a statement Friday (Jan. 11) that their report determining if enacted legislation for the current fiscal year exceeds discretionary budget limits will be delayed until funding for all 12 annual appropriations bills can be accounted for. The statement comes after the White House Office of Management and Budget said it would put automatic Medicare pay cuts on hold due to a lapse in appropriations preventing an accurate update of the so-called PAYGO scorecard .
