CMS Seeks Stakeholder Input To Guide Medicare Deregulation Effort

CMS is soliciting feedback from stakeholders on ways to cut back redundant or burdensome Medicare regulations, and has specifically pegged conditions of participation, value-based purchasing, quality and safety reporting, telehealth and digital health as areas where there may be an opportunity for regulatory streamlining, in some cases because standards are already in place in industry, the states or other federal programs.
