CMS Projects Medicare Advantage, Part D Premiums Will Drop in 2026

Advocates are pleased with CMS’ recent projection that average monthly premiums for Medicare Advantage (MA) and Part D prescription drug plans will decline in 2026, but they’re urging policymakers to take additional steps to shore up program stability and avoid potential hikes in out-of-pocket costs or cuts to supplemental benefits.
