CMS, OMHA To Expand Medicare Appeals Settlement Options

CMS says it will soon make a new settlement option available for providers with a low volume of appeals pending at the Office of Medicare Hearing and Appeals and the Departmental Appeals Board's Medicare Appeals Council, and OMHA is separately planning to expand its Settlement Conference Facilitation program.
