CMS: Nearly 8.3M Enrolled Via Healthcare.gov, Up 7% Compared to 2020

CMS on Tuesday (Jan. 12) released the final enrollment “snapshot” for healthcare.gov’s 2021 open enrollment period that wrapped up in mid-December, showing nearly 8.3 million plan selections across the 36 states, similar to last year even though two states -- New Jersey and Pennsylvania -- switched from the federal exchange to state-based exchanges.
