CMS’ Long-term Enhanced ACO Design (LEAD) model for accountable care organizations (ACOs) is leveraging interoperability requirements, optional technology adoption and telehealth enhancements as part of the agency’s effort to expand ACO benefits to more Medicare beneficiaries, the agency underscored in a request for applications out Tuesday (March 31).
