CMS’ Brooks Says Rate Notice Aims For MA Stability

CMS’ Deputy Administrator, Chief Policy and Regulatory Officer John Brooks said stakeholders should view the administration’s 2027 advanced rate notices as an effort to maintain program stability in future years while acknowledging CMS is still working through the numbers and assumptions with agency actuaries and outside carriers.
