The Congressional Budget Office announced Thursday (Oct. 5) it will consider cost savings when it analyzes legislation involving anti-obesity medications if new research shows anti-obesity medications will save money for the broader health care system, and it suggested Congress consider tailoring its Medicare coverage legislation to those specific conditions for which new research shows savings.
