Anthem Latest Insurer To Waive Co-Pays For COVID-19 Treatments

Anthem said Wednesday (April 1) it would waive cost-sharing for all treatments related to the COVID-19 diagnosis through May 31, the fourth major insurer to make such a decision in recent weeks. Last month, Aetna, Humana and Cigna also recently said that they would cover treatment without cost-sharing. Then on Thursday (April 2), 55 safety-net plans said they would cover treatment without cost-sharing for their Medicaid and D-SNP patients.
