Agencies Get Aug. 22 Deadline To Report On ‘Gold Standard’ Science Plans

The White House science office is giving agencies at HHS and across the federal government an August deadline to submit plans for implementing the Trump administration’s “gold standard” policy on scientific research, saying they need to prioritize policies that promote skepticism of research, increase transparency, communicate about scientific uncertainty, and ensure peer review is free of bias -- while also cutting costs.
