GAO Says 340B Contract Pharmacies Need More Oversight; HRSA Split On Fixes

The Government Accountability Office says the Health Resources and Services Administration, due to its weak oversight, can't be sure that 340B providers are following the rules for contract pharmacies, but HRSA disagrees with some of GAO's recommendations for fixing that aspect of the drug discount program, including a recommendation to make providers register every contract with pharmacies.
