Washington Exchange Early Data: Sign-ups Slip, Bronze Plans Grow

Washington’s health insurance exchange reports that 212,590 residents signed up for coverage during the 2020 open enrollment season that ended Dec. 30, about 8,000 fewer people than last year, and more consumers selected Bronze plans. Exchange CEO Pam MacEwan says the findings show the marketplace is steady, but still faces challenges with affordability and outreach . She also says the uptick in shopping and switches is a good sign considering consumers will have access to the new Cascade Care options...
