Senate To Vote On Opioid Legislation Next Week

The Senate will vote on bipartisan opioid legislation sometime next week, a spokesperson for Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) office said Thursday (Sept. 6). Stakeholders and lawmakers have been anticipating the vote since the House passed its package of opioid legislation in June after a two-week-long series of votes on wide-ranging opioid-related measures.
