Senate Confirms Four HHS Nominees, Leaves One Nomination Stalled

The Senate confirmed four of President Donald Trump's HHS nominees Thursday (Aug. 3), including heads of the department's offices dealing with public health emergencies, mental health and aging. However, the Senate did not take up the nomination of assistant secretary for health, and at press time it was unclear why the delay occurred.
