PCORI Board Awards $115 Million To Fund Clinical Effectiveness Research For Opioid Abuse Deterrents, Palliative Care

The Patient Centered Outcome Research Institute’s (PCORI) Board of Governors on Thursday (Aug. 17) awarded more than $115 million to fund 20 comparative clinical effectiveness research studies in areas including opioid abuse deterrents and palliative care. The board also approved $4 million to support four projects focused on improving methods for CERs.
