Pallone Calls For FDA To Examine JUUL Allegations

House Energy & Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone (D-NJ) urged FDA to investigate allegations that JUUL Labs Inc knowingly distributed contaminated mint-flavored e-cigarette pods to consumers in a letter sent to the agency on Thursday (Nov. 14). These allegations came from an anonymous former JUUL executive, who alleged JUUL sold approximately 1 million of the e-cigarette pods with the knowledge that they were contaminated.
