PA Legislature Sends Medicaid Work Requirement Bill To Governor

The Pennsylvania legislature approved a bill Wednesday (Oct. 17) to add work requirements to the state’s Medicaid program, but Gov. Tom Wolf (D) is expected to veto it. The bill seeks to require some adult Medicaid beneficiaries to work 20 hours a week or participate in job training as a condition for maintaining their Medicaid coverage.
