Ohio Is Latest State To Apply For Medicaid Work Requirements

CMS has received Ohio's request to add work requirements to its Medicaid program, the agency said Tuesday (May 15). The state's 1115 waiver application, if approved, would require beneficiaries in the Medicaid expansion population to work at least 20 hours a week or engage in other qualifying activities such as attending school or getting job training.
