Industry Mixed On Comment Extension For Plant-Based Food Labels

The dairy industry praised FDA’s recent extension of the comment period on whether the agency should take action against plant-based foods that are labeled with dairy terms such as yogurt, milk and cheese, but the plant-based food lobby said the extension was unnecessary.
