HRSA Awards $117 Million To Health Centers For Quality Improvement

The Health Resources and Services Administration on Tuesday (Aug. 25) gave community health centers more than $117 million for quality improvement. More than 1,300 health centers across the country were awarded grants, and HHS says in a statement those centers were the highest performing centers or had significant improvements from the prior year, though HRSA Administrator Tom Engels said nearly all health centers showed some improvement in clinical quality measures.
