House Approp’s Labor-HHS Budget Provides $100M In ACA Outreach

The House Appropriation Committee on Monday (April 29) unveiled a 2020 Labor-HHS-Education spending package that directs CMS to put $100 million in carryover funds from user fees toward the Affordable Care Act ‘s navigator program, as well as for ACA marketing and outreach during the open enrollment period. The Obama administration had funded both programs at $100 million but the Trump administration slashed the money by 90 percent.
