Gottlieb Plugs $30 Million In New FSMA-Related Grants

FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb announced Wednesday (July 19) that $30.9 million has been awarded to 43 states to boost implementation of the agency's Food Safety Modernization Act produce safety rule. Gottlieb plugged the rule as critical to transforming the U.S. food safety system from reactionary to preventative.
