GAO Finds ACA Helped Indian Health Services Expand Care

The Affordable Care Act resulted in a significant increase in coverage for Native Americans and also helped the Indian Health Service expand its facilities, according to a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report out Tuesday (Oct. 1) that looked at data from fiscal years 2013 through 2018.
