Former HHS Secretary Shalala Gets Seat On Rules Committee

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has tapped former HHS Secretary and newly elected Rep. Donna Shalala (D-FL) to serve on the House Rules Committee, which Shalala’s office notes means she’ll have a voice on every piece of legislation considered on the House floor.
