Following Court Order, HHS Officially Delays Rebate Ban Rule

HHS on Thursday (Feb. 18) officially delayed for one year its ban on drug rebates after being ordered to do so by a federal judge . The rule would hurt pharmacy benefit managers and the insurers that hire them to negotiate drug prices, and it would benefit drug makers that have been paying increasingly larger rebates over the past several years.
