CMS: States Can Get Reimbursed For Drugs Purchased Through Federal Supply Schedule

CMS recently released guidance that lets the Indian Health Services, and other healthcare providers like Veterans Homes that are approved to buy drugs through the Federal Supply Schedule, bill Medicaid for reimbursement, a spokesperson for CMS said. This means states can then get the Medicaid rebates for drugs purchased through the Federal Supply Schedule, according to the guidance that was released May 2.
