CMS Data Show Fewer Consumers Buying Exchange Coverage

New reports show that the number of people signing up for coverage in the individual market has decreased and mostly because of high costs, HHS Secretary Tom Price said Monday (June 12). House Ways & Means Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) used the results to support Republicans’ effort to repeal the ACA. The Effectuated Enrollment report shows that 12.1 million individuals chose a plan at the end of open enrollment, but only 10.3 million paid the premiums to keep their coverage...
