Centene Revenues Up Due To Expansion In Exchanges, Not Concerned By Individual Mandate Repeal

Centene is now the largest issuer on the health insurance exchanges with more than 1.6 million enrollees after the most recent open enrollment period, CEO Michael Neidorff told investors in its 2017 earnings call on Tuesday (Feb. 6). The company announced a 19.1 percent revenue increase compared to 2016 driven by exchange and Medicaid products.
